Brad Pitt is stepping onto the racetrack within the new trailer for “F1,” the upcoming Method One racing film. It’s coming to theaters on June 27.

Pitt stars within the film as Sonny Hayes, a retired Method One driver who suffered a horrible crash in his previous. He’s satisfied to return out of retirement and practice a rookie prodigy, performed by Damson Idris, for the Apex Grand Prix race.

Joseph Kosinski, who directed Tom Cruise within the high-flying “High Gun: Maverick,” helmed the movie alongside producers Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Method One racer Lewis Hamilton.

Along with Pitt, the “F1” solid consists of Javier Bardem, Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, Shea Wigham, Joseph Balderrama, Sarah Niles, Samson Kayo, Callie Cooke and Layne Harper.

Apple acquired “F1” again in 2022 for a deal reportedly value $130 million to $140 million, not together with the salaries for Pitt, Kosinski and the remainder of the workforce. The movie will probably be launched on the streaming service Apple TV+ at a later date, and Warner Bros. picked up the theatrical, dwelling leisure and digital buy distribution rights. Imax may even launch “F1” on its giant display screen format in theaters.
