Shohei Ohtani paid tribute to Japanese baseball legend Shigeo Nagashima … who handed away on Tuesday on the age of 89.
Ohtani mourned Nagashima’s demise on his Instagram … sharing three photographs of himself and the Yomiuri Giants nice posing collectively. Two of the pictures have been from February, when the Dodgers have been in Japan to tackle the Chicago Cubs in the course of the Tokyo Collection.

The third featured a throwback picture of Nagashima and Ohtani … and the Dodgers slugger captioned the put up, “Could your soul relaxation in peace.”
Nicknamed “Mr. Professional Baseball” … Nagashima spent his complete enjoying profession in Japan. He signed his first skilled contract in 1957 and went on to play 17 seasons, profitable 11 Japan Collection titles.
