Daring rescue in the midst of a historic storm dumping tons of rain on Los Angeles … firefighters used a helicopter to save lots of a person who jumped in a raging river to seize his canine.
The emergency scenario performed out Monday afternoon in the midst of the flooding L.A. River … with LAFD crews bringing in a chopper to tug out a person who was stranded within the flowing water.
The man was attempting to bit considerably of a hero himself … he was trying to save lots of his canine, who had been swept away within the rapids throughout a flash flood.
As you possibly can see, a helicopter hovered over the river and lowered a firefighter who grabbed the man and pulled him to security.
The poor pooch was saved too … with the canine swimming to dry land by itself.
LAFD says each man and canine suffered minor accidents … the man was transported to an area hospital and the pup was taken to an animal shelter.
Firefighters are pleased to report the canine is “alive and wanting to reunite together with his human.”
As we reported … the massive storm, a Pineapple Specific, is wreaking havoc in Southern California … inflicting flash flooding, catastrophic landslides, and harm from particles and downed bushes.
