Tyler Christopher died below unhappy circumstances — in response to officers, he suffocated to dying … and it seems to have been partially brought on by him being drunk.

In response to the Medical Examiner Workplace’s report, obtained by TMZ, the “Basic Hospital” star’s official reason behind dying is being listed as positional asphyxia because of acute alcohol intoxication. There is a contributing situation cited … coronary artery atherosclerosis.

In layman’s phrases, Tyler suffocated to dying due to how he was positioned when he died — and the ME right here is saying booze performed in a component in him ending up that approach. The latter description is principally plaque build-up in his arteries. His dying was unintended.

We broke the story … Tyler’s good friend discovered him deceased at his San Diego condominium — this after making an attempt and failing to come up with him for some time. His pal found his physique in his bed room … and referred to as 911 shortly thereafter.

Tyler’s one-time costar, Maurice Benard, broke the information about his passing … calling him a “really gifted person that lit up the display in each scene he carried out and relished bringing pleasure to his loyal followers by his performing.”

He’d been on ‘Basic Hospital’ for a really very long time, starring in over 1,100 episodes. TC was solely 50.
