Ryan Coogler has little interest in making a “Sinners” sequel.

In a latest interview with Ebony Journal, Coogler, who has helmed mega-franchise blockbusters like “Black Panther” and “Creed,” stated he “by no means” thought of making a follow-up to his enormously profitable vampire thriller.

“I’ve been in an area of creating franchise movies for a bit, so I wished to get away from that,” Coogler defined. “I used to be wanting ahead to engaged on a movie that felt authentic and private to me and had an urge for food for delivering one thing to audiences that was authentic and distinctive.”

He continued, “I wished the film to really feel like a full meal: your appetizers, starters, entrees and desserts, I wished all of it there. I wished it to be a holistic and completed factor. That was how I used to be requested all about it. That was at all times my intention.”

In a sit-down with Selection, Coogler elaborated on how “Sinners” completely aligns along with his favourite forms of films.
